Ukraine to ink deal to liberalize cross-border transport with EU on June 29 - Deputy Infrastructure Minister Nayem
Deputy Infrastructure Minister Mustafa Nayem has said that Ukraine will sign a deal that heralds the liberalization of rules governing cross-border transportation between Ukraine and the EU. This is equivalent to a 'transport visa-free regime' with the EU, which allows international transportation without weighty administrative processes.

Mustafa Nayem stated this on the air of the all-Ukrainian telemarathon.
According to Nayem, the signing will facilitate the simplified transportation of agro-industrial products, oil and gas.
The number of freight traffic will increase 5-7 times compared to February 24.
He also added that after the start of a full-scale invasion, almost 75% of Ukrainian cargo can't leave.
"It's not a fact that they will have enough of these opportunities to transport crops. Before the war they transported 5-7 million tons, now up to 4 million tons, given that over the past 4 months they have accumulated about 20 million tons to be exported without opening ports. It will be unrealistic," Nayem said.
