Ukraine to get two Patriot air defense systems from Germany

This was announced by the head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak.

"+2 Patriots from Germany," Yermak wrote in a short Telegram post.

The donation of Patriot launchers was also confirmed by the German government.

The new aid package also includes:

• 10 tracked all-terrain vehicles Bandvagn 206 (BV206)

• 6, 525 rounds 155mm smoke ammunition

• material for explosive ordnance disposal

• 5 border protection vehicles

• 4 reconnaissance drones VECTOR

• 1,163 binoculars

• 6 truck tractor trains 8x8 HX81

• 2 load-handling trucks 8x6

• 100 machine guns MG5*

• 40,000 first aid kits

On August 9, the German Ministry of Defense suggested that Poland continue the deployment of three German Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems.
