Ukraine strikes Russian substation powering military facilities in Belgorod region
Drones controlled by Ukraine's Security Service have attacked a substation in Russia's Belgorod region, which supplied power to military facilities
RBC-Ukraine reported the information, citing its own sources in the Security Service of Ukraine.
In the village of Krasna Yaruga, Belgorod region of Russia, the Security Service of Ukraine attacked the substation using drones.
Sources in the Security Service note that it was this station that was connected to Russian military facilities.
The Security Service provided video evidence showing the drones hitting their targets.
"This is another effort by the Security Service to make the occupiers understand that blackout in response to numerous attacks on energy infrastructure by them is a reality that is already on their doorstep," the Security Service emphasized.
Russia's Defense Ministry said that on the night of Sunday, October 15, 27 drones attacked Russia’s Kursk and Belgorod regions. All targets were allegedly shot down by Russian air defense.
