Ukraine starts talks with Romania on security agreement
Negotiations on a bilateral security agreement have begun in Davos between the Head of Ukraine's Presidential Office Andriy Yermak and the State Secretary for Strategic Affairs at the Romanian Foreign Ministry Iulian Fota.
This was reported on the website of the Office of the Ukrainian President.
It is noted that the negotiations began at the fourth meeting on the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
Romania became the ninth country to start bilateral security talks with Ukraine. It is also noted that "this was a logical continuation of the agreements following the telephone conversation between the presidents of Ukraine and Romania on 9 January 2024 and a step towards the implementation of the Joint Declaration of the leaders of both states of 10 October 2023."
