Ukraine sends 87 rescuers to Turkey to help with earthquake relief efforts
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has instructed the State Emergency Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to send an 87-member search and rescue team to Turkey to deal with the aftermath of the powerful earthquake

This is stated in a government decree of February 7.
Thus, a combined search and rescue team of 87 people, including 10 flight crew members, will depart for Turkey by An-32 and An-26 aircraft and by road.
In a conversation with Turkish leader Recep Erdogan, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that “Ukrainian specialists have relevant experience in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and will arrive in the affected regions as soon as possible.”
Zelenskyy also expressed his condolences over the terrible tragedy that caused the deaths of almost 4.2 thousand people
