Ukraine returns bodies of 17 fallen soldiers from temporarily occupied territories
Ukraine has managed to return the bodies of 17 fallen defenders from the temporarily occupied territories, and in total managed to take the bodies of 1426 soldiers for a decent burial
This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories.
"Ukraine has returned the bodies of another 17 fallen defenders. With the assistance of the Commissioner's Office for Missing Persons under the Ministry of Reintegration in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, the bodies of 17 fallen Ukrainian defenders were returned home today. The transfer of the bodies from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine took place in accordance with the Geneva Convention," the ministry said.
The press service also reported that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the bodies of 1426 Ukrainian defenders have been returned for a decent burial.

On February 10, it was reported that Ukraine had returned the bodies of 61 fallen soldiers. In total, from May to February 2022, when the Office of the Commissioner for Missing Persons was established, 888 bodies were returned.
