Ukraine returns another child from occupied Mariupol
On Thursday, July 27, Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said that Ukraine had managed to take a child who had been there since February last year out of the temporarily occupied Mariupol
Vereshchuk wrote about this on Telegram.
She noted that the boy grew up without parents and faced occupation in Mariupol in February last year. He is currently in Kyiv.
"Another boy was taken from occupied Mariupol. Vladyslav is growing up without parents. In February last year, he found himself under occupation, but he did not give up hope and effort. His journey was long and difficult, but in the end he is here with us in Kyiv," the statement says.
Vereshchuk thanked the volunteers and everyone who helped return the boy to the government-controlled territories.
