The head of the Ukrainian President’s office, Andriy Yermak, wrote about this.
It is noted that out of 87 defenders of Mariupol, 71 are from Azovstal steel plant.
35 of the liberated were taken prisoner in the Donetsk sector, near Bakhmut and Soledar.
Yermak emphasized that most of the liberated soldiers were seriously wounded.
"Most of the people we are returning today have serious injuries. As President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says, the state must take care of each of them. Each of our heroes should feel that the state cares about them," he wrote.
