Ukraine receives new tranche of 1.5 billion euros of macro-financial assistance from EU

On April 25, the European Union allocated another tranche of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine for 1.5 billion euros

This was announced by the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on Twitter.

This is the third tranche of 18 billion euros that the European Union pledged for macro-financial assistance to Ukraine.

"Today we are providing another €1.5 billion to Ukraine under our annual macro-financial assistance package. We will continue helping Ukraine resist Russia’s aggression, keep its institutions and infrastructure running, and conduct crucial reforms," Von der Leyen wrote.
