Ukraine receives first Leopard tanks repaired in Poland
On October 2, the Ukrainian army received the first Leopard tanks repaired at the Bumar-Labędy Mechanical Plant in Poland

"While others are making declarations about the future, we are acting in consultation with the Ukrainian side. The Ukrainian side has received the first Leopard tanks, specially refurbished at Bumar-Labędy, and work on the next tanks is ongoing," the statement says.
For reference. Bumar-Labędy Mechanical Plant is a Polish company based in Gliwice. Since 2015, the company has been the main contractor for the modernization of Leopard 2A4 tanks to the Leopard 2PL standard, and since 2019 it has been carrying out repairs with the modification of T-72M1 tanks to the T-72M1P standard.
Maintenance of Ukrainian tanks in Poland
In April, media reported that a service center for the maintenance and repair of Ukrainian Leopard 2 tanks will start operating in Poland, in Gliwice, at the Bumar-Labędy facility in May.
In July, Berlin announced that Polish partners would be able to repair Leopard 2A4 tanks that were damaged at the front in Ukraine.
