This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

According to the Minister of Energy of Ukraine

Herman Halushchenko, despite the war, Ukraine was able to maintain the stable operation of the energy system and ensure the transit of gas to Europe.  Therefore, Ukraine is ready to help replace Russian gas for European countries this winter.

"Our European partners confirm the importance of helping Ukraine in stable energy supply. The full use of our electricity export potential – more than 1.5 GW – will allow European countries to replace 5-6 billion cubic meters of Russian gas. Our gas storage facilities are the largest in Europe, and we are ready to provide 12 billion cubic meters for the storage of European strategic gas reserves", he noted.

The minister also noted that Ukraine daily feels financial, humanitarian, as well as energy support from the EU, and is ready to be a reliable partner for European countries.

"Changes in the energy landscape of Europe have already begun, and I am sure that after the victory, Ukraine will take a worthy place in the new energy sector of the European region", Herman Halushchenko concluded.
