Yuriy Hnat, Ukrainian Air Force spokesman, said that to effectively shoot down Iranian kamikaze drones, Ukraine needs modern air defense systems

He announced this on the air of the telethon.

He noted that attacks by Iranian drones from various directions are now possible, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already preparing to counter such weapons. However, Hnat noted that Ukraine still needs the latest air defense systems from its Western partners.

He also said that there is information about the delivery to Russia of four military transport planes from Iran, which could contain hundreds of kamikaze drones.
