Ukraine, Moldova and Romania agreed to join forces to evacuate their citizens from the Gaza Strip
Newsmaker reported the information, citing a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova.
It noted that on October 19, Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu held telephone conversations with Romanian Foreign Minister Luminița Odobescu and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
The evacuation will be carried out through the Rafah checkpoint on the border with Egypt.
"This cooperation will allow for a quick and safe evacuation of our citizens through the Rafah border crossing," the statement said.

As of the evening of October 15, Ukraine was able to evacuate more than 200 citizens from Israel and Gaza, and about 260 Ukrainians are still in Gaza.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi agreed to open the Rafah crossing for about 20 trucks with humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip.
