Ukraine investigates over 3,000 Russian war crimes against children - Prosecutor General
Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin says that 3,440 war crimes against children are currently under investigation in Ukraine

This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office.
"Forced deportation is one of the most cynical crimes of this war. This is a clear genocidal policy of Russia, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his opening speech," the statement says.
Kostin said that Ukraine is implementing child-friendly justice standards designed to protect children's rights and interests: "At the same time, we continue to work closely with the International Criminal Court. Our goal is to ensure accountability of criminals at all levels - national and international."
The Prosecutor General also spoke about the development of bilateral and multilateral international legal cooperation and readiness to transfer cases to states on the basis of universal jurisdiction.
- Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets said that the deportation of 19,540 Ukrainian children by Russia has been officially confirmed.
