Ukraine has several scenarios of counter-offensive on Dnipro bank
The Armed Forces of Ukraine can liberate Dnipro’s left bank by launching an offensive on Nova Kakhovka dam or in the Melitopol direction, Ukraine’s analyst says
Serhiy Kuzan, the head of Ukrainian Security and Cooperation Center, shared his thoughts on Espreso TV.
According to him, Russian troops are destroying all watercraft on the right bank of the Dnipro River near Kherson and along the Dnipro bank, which is almost 1 km wide. The goal is to not allow Ukrainian Armed Forces to launch an offensive.
Serhiy Kuzan assumed that the 40 armored boats to be provided to Ukraine are for launching a counter-offensive operation on the Dnipro or the Kakhovka reservoir. Also, he added that it is possible to cross to the left bank of Dnipro by helicopter.
"The main offensive tactic is to go to the area of Nova Kakhovka, that is, the move to Beryslav, the right bank of the dam. Then conduct combat operations in the area of Nova Kakhovka, put up a base and hold the dam, so we can cross to the left bank in this area. Although, the areas near Orikhove and Huliaipole and up to Tokmak and Melitopol are the ones that provide the best access to the left bank. That means we can liberate the left bank from the left bank itself, from near Zaporizhzhia," Kuzan suggested.
