Ukraine has most efficient army in Europe - Mirosław Czech

He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.

"I believe that Ukraine will be able to feel safe when it becomes a member of the EU and NATO. The EU stands for economic development, the rule of law, freedom and values for which Ukrainians are now shedding blood and defending their independence. But also, Ukraine does not need to pay such a terrible price to make the next generations of Ukrainians feel safe," he said.

Czech also explained why it is profitable for NATO to have Ukraine among its members

"Ukraine is the strongest army in Europe considering the states of the democratic camp, the most combat-ready. If it is equipped with modern tanks, air defence and aircraft, this army will show that it can restrain and defeat the Russian one. This is priceless for NATO. No need to try other scenarios. Ukraine's contribution to the security of NATO and the EU is enormous. And everyone recognizes this and understands it at the strategic level."
