Ukraine extradites UOC-MP collaborator to return 101 Ukrainians from captivity - Main Intelligence Directorate
As a result of an exchange, Ukraine returned 100 defenders and one civilian from captivity: Russia's request was to extradite a collaborator of the UOC-MP
The representative of the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence Andriy Yusov stated this during the telethon.
"Yesterday, at the request of the other side and with its own consent, one collaborator, a so-called clergyman of the Moscow Patriarchate, who assisted the occupiers, gave out various information, helped to conduct the so-called pseudo-elections, was handed over to return our guys," the DIU representative said.
According to Andriy Yusov, Russia was the first to request the transfer of a collaborator from the UOC-MP, who was not opposed to it. Thus, Ukraine did not object because it helped to bring its citizens home.
