
Ukraine downs 112 Russian drones in overnight attack

The Air Force press service reported the information.
"On the night of May 22 (starting at 12:30 a.m.), Russia launched an attack using an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Taganrog area and 128 Shahed drones, along with other decoy drones. They came from Millerovo, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, and Chauda in occupied Crimea," the report said.
The press service added that Ukrainian aviation, air defense missile units, electronic warfare teams, drone units, and mobile fire groups worked together to repel the attack.
By 11:00 a.m., Ukrainian air defense had taken down 112 Russian drones across the east, north, south, and center of the country.
“74 were shot down, and 38 were brought down by electronic warfare without causing damage,” the press service said.
They also reported that the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Mykolaiv regions were affected by the Russian attack.
