Ukraine creates mobile groups to shoot down Russian drones
By October 15, 50 mobile groups will be deployed in the Lviv region to shoot down the Shahed UAVs. They will be equipped with everything necessary to fight drones
Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi said this, Espreso reports.
According to him, starting from October 15, additional 50 mobile groups will be deployed in the Lviv region to shoot down the Shahed UAVs.
"We are now working together with socially responsible businesses, the West military industrial complex and the Territorial Defense Brigade to equip an additional 50 mobile groups to shoot down the Shahed UAVs. By October 15, we will help our military with 50 mobile groups that will be fully equipped to shoot down the Shaheda," he said.
In addition, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration noted that work is currently underway to equip Ukrenergo stations that provide transit and supply of electricity to the region. Additional equipment with big bags, gabions to protect against missiles and UAVs, as well as work on installing anti-drone protection. Similar works are also underway at the main substations of the regional power distribution companies, which will further protect the electricity supply to the population.
