Ukraine cannot feel safe without liberation of Crimea – president's representative in Crimea Tasheva

"The invading Russian forces take seriously the statements of the Ukrainian military leadership that Crimea will be liberated. On the territory of Crimea, the invaders are building fortifications and reinforcing the contingent. The invaders continue to intimidate people. They are looking for the so-called "waiting people", as they call Ukrainian citizens who support Ukraine and are waiting for the liberation of the peninsula," Tasheva emphasized.

According to the president's representative in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Ukraine needs to liberate the territory of the Crimean peninsula.

"Russians are taking out high-precision weapons from Crimea because guerrillas and our intelligence officers are working. They already realize that they will not be able to defend it. The enemy uses the temporarily occupied Crimea as a key military base. They attack the mainland of Ukraine from there, and launch missile attacks from there. We are proving to our international partners that we need to liberate the territory of the Crimean peninsula. Because without the liberation of Crimea, we will not be able to feel safe," Tasheva emphasized.
