Ukraine can join the European power grid within a week
Ukraine expects to join the European power grid ENTSO-E within a week. The synchronization process is in the final stage.
It was stated by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko.
‘The synchronization of technical preparation is almost over. It should be completed within the next few days. We expect that the connection will take place in the coming week, ’said the report.
The Ministry hopes that Europe will also take the path of energy independence and refuse Russian gas in particular.
‘We warned that Russia uses gas as a weapon. And today this weapon is already on our streets... Europeans simply have to make decisions for themselves. They simply have to refuse to purchase Russian gas and oil. There are opportunities for diversification, ’added Halushchenko.
