Ukraine actively prepares for next two-three months. They can be decisive - Oleksiy Danilov
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov claims, the next few months may be decisive. The Russian forces will continue to go because they put everything on the line
NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov said this in an interview with the Voice of America.
Danilov said that today Russia does not have the ability to defeat Ukraine in an open battle: "They are now driven into a dead end. And a rat that is driven into a dead end is the most dangerous."
He noted that Ukraine is preparing for probable events in the next two to three months.
"And we are preparing very actively for the next two or three months, which can be decisive at this moment. Because now Russia, taking into account the fact that it does not want to accept the position of the entire world community and understands that it needs to withdraw now to have as few consequences as possible directions for its country. They will continue to go because they have put everything on the line," the NSDC Secretary stressed.
Danilov stated that preparations are underway, but Ukraine urgently needs the help of partners. And the amount of support we receive now is significantly different from the spring.
"Today, realizing these challenges, we are preparing as much as possible. We also understand that we desperately need the help of our partners. And I want to say that the assistance that was in March, April and May is a completely different assistance than we are receiving today," the representative of the National Security and Defense Council added.
