Two defense lines are being formed in Chernihiv region

This is reported by the Commander of the Ukrainian Joint Forces, General Serhii Naiev. 

"Today, the situation in the Chernihiv region, as well as in the entire Northern Operational Zone, is stable and under control. However, in the most dangerous areas, the borders and positions of the first and second defense lines are being equipped in full swing," he wrote.

According to him, together with the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, the defenders are taking measures to strengthen their defense.

"If the threat grows, additional forces will arrive at the prepared lines, and we will be ready to respond adequately to any development of the situation," Naiev assured.

• On June 26, Naiev announced the completion of the construction of psychological and tactical obstacle courses in northern Ukraine.
• According to him, as of the second half of October, Russia has concentrated a group of 19,000 troops near Ukraine's northern border. They are shelling the border and conducting reconnaissance.
