TV button owners, bot armies gear up for elections
I would like to remind you that the basic principles of military propaganda were set out by the British diplomat Lord Ponsonby in his book Falsehood in War-Time (1928)
The essence of the book is as follows:
1. We do not want to fight!
The main thing is to convince people that "they" hate "us" and have already started or are ready to be the first to take active action.
2. "We" are at war only because of "their" fault!
They started the war, or are about to start it. "We" are simply forced to defend ourselves.
3. The leader of "them" is Satan in human form!
According to the author, it is not necessary to make people hate everyone. It is necessary to personify the enemy, to show all "ours" that the enemy's leader is a crazy, lying, corrupt person.
4. We are fighting for a just cause.
Author says that sayng that in every war, first of all, economic goals are achieved should be omitted, only the humanitarian component should be emphasized.
5. The enemy is committing crimes on purpose, we are just by chance.
6. The enemy uses prohibited methods and prohibited weapons.
7. Representatives of culture, art, intellectuals, and the country's elite support us.
8. Our cause is sacred!
9. Anyone who doubts the veracity of our words is a traitor!
Why am I reminding you of these manipulative techniques?
The answer is obvious.
Unfortunately, it is not only Russia that follows such advice.
The owners of the TV button and the army of bots have already started preparing for the elections in Ukraine.
Let's be vigilant!
