Turkey says 4-partite meeting on Ukrainian grain exports to be held July 13
A meeting of defense ministry representatives from Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, and the UN will be held in Istanbul on July 13
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey.
Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar is convinced that "tomorrow in Istanbul, negotiations will be held on the supply of Ukrainian grain to international markets."
For this purpose, he held negotiations with the Ministers of Defense of Russia, Sergei Shoigu, and Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov.
"After all these meetings, there is hope that the grain that is in Ukrainian ports will be safely sent by sea to international markets. On July 13, there will be negotiations between the military delegations of the defense ministries of Turkey, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, as well as the UN delegation," the ministry said.
Ukraine has not confirmed its participation in the meeting yet. There is also no information from Russia.
