Turkey investigates allegations of Russia stealing Ukrainian grain 

Turkey condemns the theft of Ukrainian grain by any country and is 'completely resolute' on this matter

Turkey's  Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu made the country's position clear in a statement reported by the Andalou Agency.

He said that the country would set up a Grain Corridor Control Center if Ukraine and Russia reach agreement in Istanbul.

At a press conference with his British counterpart Liz Truss, he reiterated that Turkey opposes the illegal purchase and sale of Ukrainian grain by any country and is 'completely resolute' on this matter.

For her part, Minister Liz Truss said that the United Kingdom and Turkey were working together to export grain from Ukraine, stressing that it should be exported within the next month, otherwise it would have 'devastating consequences'.
