Turkey does not accept Russia's annexation of Ukrainian territories

This is stated in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.

"Turkey did not recognize the annexation of Crimea by Russia in the illegitimate referendum held in 2014, and every time it emphasized its firm support for the territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty of Ukraine.

Turkey "cannot accept this decision, which is a gross violation of established principles of international law," the statement said.
