The White House expects that meetings between Donald Trump and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as Russian leader Vladimir Putin, will occur "very soon"

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt made the statement on Fox News.

She said that they expected those meetings to take place “very soon.”

According to Leavitt, Trump anticipates signing an agreement on rare earth minerals with Zelenskyy.

She added that signing this agreement was the right decision, given what American taxpayers had contributed to Ukraine.

Earlier, the Wall Street Journal wrote that negotiations between the United States and Ukraine on signing a minerals extraction agreement are nearing completion. And President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is seeking to meet with Donald Trump in person next week in Washington to discuss the agreement.
