Truck traffic from Ukraine to Slovakia partially resumes

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine informs that starting from 7:30 p.m. on December 13, the Slovak side partially resumed entry operations to its territory. It was previously reported that 2 trucks per hour would be allowed to enter Slovakia. However, only 3-4 trucks pass through per hour.
- Earlier, the Union of Road Carriers of Slovakia (UNAS) said it was ready to completely block the Vysne Nemecke-Uzhhorod border crossing if the situation with the abolition of the permit system for Ukrainian truckers is not resolved.

On December 11, Slovak carriers began blocking the movement of trucks leaving Ukraine. In this regard, customs officers in the Zakarpattia region are directing trucks to other checkpoints.
