Training military and restoring units: Zaluzhnyi talks with new US Army Commander Brown for first time
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi spoke on the phone for the first time with Charles Brown, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff
Zaluzhnyi informed about this on Telegram.
"First of all, I briefed my colleague in detail on the current state of affairs, the operational situation at the front, our steps in defense and offense. I informed him about the enemy's intensification of actions in certain areas and its likely plans," Zaluzhnyi wrote.
The Commander-in-Chief discussed with General Brown the current needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including air defense systems, artillery systems and ammunition. He expressed appreciation for the latest military assistance package recently announced by the United States.
They also discussed the training of the Ukrainian military and the restoration of units.
General Brown reaffirmed his support for Ukraine and productive cooperation in the fight against Russian aggression.
