Three people die as Avdiivka is shelled by Grad rocket launchers

This was reported by the head of Avdiivka city military administration Vitaliy Barabash on Telegram.

"Once again, the Russian forces showed their animal nature, brutally attacking the civilian population of Avdiivka. This morning and afternoon, the inhumans struck Avdiivka with Grad and barrel artillery. All parts of the city were hit," Barabash wrote.

“At present, three civilians have been killed, two of them are young men born in 1980 and 1985. Three injured are already receiving medical assistance,” the official added.

Barabash added that the shelling of the city continues. Information on all victims and destruction in Avdiivka is being clarified.

• Also on the morning of January, the Russian forces launched a missile strike on Kyiv. Explosions were heard in the Dniprovskyi district of the capital and 18 private houses were damaged in the region.

• On January 14, Russian forces struck Dnipro city, destroying the whole entrance of a ten-story building and injuring at least ten people.
