There isn't single surviving building in Avdiivka

Avdiivka's infrastructure has been completely destroyed by Russian shelling, with not a single building left intact and 80% of the city's housing stock destroyed

The head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration Vitaliy Barabash said this in a commentary to Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the official, the city's housing stock has been destroyed by more than 80%.

“The infrastructure is completely broken – nothing works. The housing stock is more than 80% destroyed – it is impossible to restore or repair, but only to demolish and rebuild. There is not a single building left intact. There probably hasn't been a single undamaged building in the city since the summer. In total, we had 149 multi-storey buildings and about 4,000 private houses,” Barabash said.

The official said that in the winter, the remaining locals heated their houses with stoves provided by volunteers and the government. In addition, fuel for the stoves was purchased with a subsidy from the state budget.
