The President of the German Bundestag arrived in Kyiv

The head of the Bundestag secretariat Enrico Brissa reported this on Twitter. 

“President of the Bundestag Berbel Bass began her visit to Kyiv on May 8,” Brissa signed a photo of the German parliament speaker getting out of a car at the capital's train station.

According to the head of the secretariat, today Bass will honor the memory of the victims of World War II and hold political talks.

Berbel Bass became the first German high-ranking official to visit Ukraine since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion.
