The number of children injured as a result of full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation increased to 386 - juvenile prosecutors

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

"More than 594 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation. As of the morning of April 22, the official number of child victims has not changed, it's 208. The number of injured has increased to 386", said juvenile prosecutors.

The data are not final, as they are being established in places of active hostilities in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

According to juvenile prosecutors, the most affected children in Kyiv city - 16, Donetsk - 120, Kyiv - 113, Kharkiv - 91, Chernihiv - 66, Kherson - 44, Mykolaiv - 41, Luhansk - 37, Zaporizhzhya - 25, Sumy - 17, and Zhytomyr regions - 15.

A 16-year-old boy was seriously injured in the Russian artillery shelling on April 20 in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region.

"Due to the bombing and shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, 1,141 educational institutions were damaged, 99 of them were completely destroyed", the Office of the Prosecutor General added.
