He told this on the air of the Pryamyi channel.

"I want to thank all the volunteers, the 206th Territorial Defense Battalion, who help us take people out of Romanivka. I want to thank the regional leadership, which also provides buses, and takes them out. We take people to Kyiv to the train station via Romanivka", the head of Irpin said.

He reminded that yesterday there was an agreement on a "green corridor" when Irpin, Vorzel, Gostomel, and Bucha will be able to evacuate their civilians.

"But it worked only in Irpin. Buses arrived, we helped, loaded people, elderly people, the disabled. And in Bucha, in Gostomel it failed. And we see that today the representatives of Russia do not fulfill these agreements", the mayor said.

"We want to thank everyone who organized the" green corridor ". And I want to suggest that Gostomel residents, Bucha residents, and people from Vorzel can go through our city, through Irpin. And we will send people across the bridge, through Romanivka to Kyiv - from 10 o'clock until the last person. Who will come, we will send everyone", Markushyn said.

He also reported on tragic cases in which the occupiers shot dead civilians trying to leave the danger zone.

"When people drove out of the parking lot in cars, they were shot. Many women and children died. You can't shoot at civilians. When it said "Children" or Red Cross. These are facts. And we will not forgive them a single child, a single woman, or a single citizen of Ukraine. Some of these crimes, of course, are documented, there are videos, there are photos. And we will hand them over to certain services", the head of Irpin noted.

"Now is the time when we must all unite. This is the time when a new history of Ukraine is being created. This is a time of trials. We are on our land. We are fighting with you for Ukraine, for our families. For our land. We will not tolerate any invaders in our country. And we will fight to the last drop of blood for our country. For our people. We will definitely win", Markushyn said.
