Tayyip Erdogan wins presidential election in Turkey
In Turkey, on May 28, the incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won the elections. He received 52.1% of the vote.

After opening 99.43% of the ballot boxes, he gets 52.14% of the votes. Erdoğan's rival Kılıçdaroğlu won 47.86% of the vote.
The difference between the candidates is more than two million votes, and the remaining uncounted votes will not change the result, the election commission added.
