Talks about threat of invasion from Belarus aimed at drawing AFU away from frontline - Ukrainian intelligence
Andriy Cherniak, representative of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence, has stated that, according to the Ukrainian military intelligence, the probability of Russian invasion from the territory of Belarus in the coming weeks remains low
He shared his opinion in a comment to Radio Svoboda.
"There is a certain mechanism for assessing threats, there are certain markers by which we assess the likelihood of a particular action. We are constantly monitoring any changes in the situation in Belarus. Today, the military intelligence of Ukraine does not record any signs of the creation of a strike group on the territory of Belarus. The Russian army in Belarus launches strikes on peaceful cities and civilian infrastructure of Ukraine, conducts training and prepares mobilized personnel. Then these mobilized servicemen are deployed to the combat zone. Talks about a possible invasion of Ukraine by Belarus are an attempt to draw our troops away from the combat zone," said the representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

"We have to conduct intelligence in Belarus, we do not hide it. In case of invasion, the invading forces will be destroyed," the representative of the military intelligence of Ukraine concluded.
