Stoltenberg: We are developing long-term agreements for the security of Ukraine and Europe

NATO, EU and Ukraine develop long-term agreements for the security of Ukraine and Europe

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.

"We are clear that Ukraine's future lies within the European family. We are now developing long-term agreements for the security of Ukraine and Europe. NATO will stand by Ukraine for as long as it is necessary, and we will work with the EU to achieve this security. We understand that Russia will not take steps towards peace agreements, they want to escalate. I urge Russia to abandon its decisions and respect the existing agreements," he said.
