Statement on alleged destruction of Ukrainian servicemen in Kramatorsk is Russian Defense Ministry infowar operation - Serhiy Cherevaty
Spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Serhiy Cherevaty refuted a statement issued by the Russian Defense Ministry claiming the alleged destruction of the Kramatorsk military and said that Russia is unable to deliver high-precision strikes
He told about this in a comment to "Suspilne".
The Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian forces carried out a "retaliatory operation" against the Ukrainian Armed Forces and struck at Kramatorsk, where the Ukrainian military was allegedly located. Russian forces claimed 600 Ukrainian servicemen were "killed".
Serhiy Cherevaty denied this statement and called it an information operation of the Russian Ministry of Defense. He stressed that this is the occupiers' reaction to the success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"This information is as true as the data that they destroyed all our HIMARS. This is an information operation of the Ministry of Defense of Russia in response to the successful actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to destroy their large concentrations of personnel, warehouses, and logistics with our high-precision destruction systems. They do not have such an opportunity," Cherevaty said.
