State Department: US sees future Ukraine as strong and independent democracy
The United States will continue to help Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression and sees the future of Ukraine as a strong, independent, and democratic state
This is said in the US State Department statement after the Brussels meeting between US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
"The Secretary reaffirmed U.S. support for NATO cooperation with Ukraine and long-term commitment to building Ukraine’s defense and deterrence capabilities," the statement said.
The State Department added that Blinken and Kuleba discussed, in particular, further military assistance to Kyiv.
"The Secretary underscored the importance of Ukraine’s future as a strong, independent, and democratic country," it was added.
