In the quarterfinals, Zhan Beleniuk secured a victory against his opponent from Kazakhstan with a score of 7:3. Meanwhile, Parviz Nasibov made a remarkable comeback, defeating his Kyrgyz opponent 7:6 after initially trailing 2:6.
The semifinals will take place today, August 7.
Earlier, Zhan Beleniuk defeated his Chinese opponent, Haitao Qian, with a score of 7:1 in the opening bout. In the quarterfinals, Beleniuk competed against Kazakhstan's Nursultan Tursynov and won with a score of 7:3.
Additionally, Parviz Nasibov was initially down 1-2 but managed to secure a 3-2 victory.
