Spelling difficulties: Ukraine exposes another Russian fake about "Ukrainian" weapons for Hamas
Russian propaganda resources continue to promote the fake that Hamas terrorists are fighting with Ukrainian weapons
This was reported by Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation.
Now, propaganda Telegram channels are spreading a video in which Hamas militants show how they broke through the fence on the border with Israel with the help of American weapons that came from Ukraine.
The Center explains that this is in fact a fake. The footage shows the name on the boxes - Bangalor - and the tubes with explosives with yellow paint in English read Torped Bangalor.
However, the explosive charge placed within one or several connected tubes, has always been called Bangalore Torpedo.
There is also no evidence on other weapons samples where torpedo is spelt ‘torped’. The pipes with explosives also have a date of manufacture, while the real Torpedo Bangalore has only a batch number, which can be encrypted with the date of manufacture.

This fake is a follow-up to the Russian disinformation campaign about "Ukrainian weapons in the hands of Hamas". The goal of this campaign is to discredit Ukraine and reduce military aid from Western allies.-
On October 9, the Russian forces had launched a new disinformation campaign amid the war in Israel. Russian TV channels are spreading false information to discredit Ukraine.
