Spain confirms transfer of Hawk air defense systems to Ukraine
Spain has confirmed that it will provide Ukraine with six launchers for Hawk anti-aircraft missile systems and announced the provision of 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells
The press service of the Spanish Ministry of Defense reports this.
Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles said that six new anti-aircraft missile systems will be integrated into the US battery. And starting in November 2023, Spain will conduct training for Ukrainian HAWK operators and maintainers.
Robles also announced the delivery of 155 mm and 105 mm artillery ammunition and heavy machine guns to strengthen drone counteraction.
In addition, the minister noted that field rations are already on their way to Ukraine, followed by power generators and diving compressors, as well as winter gear for Ukrainian defenders.
