South Korean President promises to continue supporting Ukraine while visiting US
South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol says that following talks with his American counterpart Joe Biden, they agreed to continue to provide assistance to Ukraine

Reuters reported that at a press conference in Washington, the South Korean president said that the countries agreed to continue cooperation and efforts with the international community to support Ukraine.
Biden welcomed South Korea's participation in countering Russia's aggression against Ukraine, developing the Indo-Pacific region, creating secure and sustainable supply chains, and investing in the future, Voice of America reports.

Also during this visit, the United States and South Korea signed a landmark agreement to counter the DPRK's nuclear threat. Washington will periodically deploy US nuclear submarines to South Korea and involve Seoul in its nuclear planning operations.
