South Korea may take decisive action to help Ukraine - diplomat Chaly
South Korea has never stated that it won't supply weapons to Ukraine, because the support of its allies is very important to it. Therefore, deliveries can take place
Diplomat Valeriy Chaly said this on Espreso TV.
“South Korea said that at this stage it would not supply weapons to Ukraine, but it never swore that it would not do so. Now the position is being clarified, and we are talking about certain conditions. I think they are already in place. South Korea is a democratic country that belongs to the group of countries that help Ukraine. There are no restrictions in the military sphere. Indeed, for them, the conflict with the DPRK increases the risks. I think that South Korea understands that the support of its allies for the future is very important to them in Asia. They can take conscious, more decisive actions, realizing that they will also be helped in the future,” he said.
Chaly added that Ukraine will always remember those who help.
“In the future, our partnership will be strengthened with such countries. I can welcome the fact that right now South Korea is taking decisive steps to stop Russian aggression and war in the center of Europe. While it is a cautious statement, we will wait for the results,” the diplomat concluded.
