Russian forces shell Bakhmut every second with weapons of various calibers but the Ukrainian military is pushing them back
Serhiy Dzherdzh, a soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, head of the Public League "Ukraine-NATO", told this on Espreso TV.
"It changes little because the fighting on the contact line is very difficult. Ukrainian military manages to push back the Russian army. After massive artillery shelling some positions have to be withdrawn to save lives," he noted.
The serviceman noted that the abandoned positions have to be retaken again, and the situation is turning into a constant clash in the same places.
"The situation is difficult. In Bakhmut shelling is heard almost every second. Different calibers in different places. It is a constant banging," emphasized Serhiy Dzherdzh.

CEO of Defense Express military expert group Serhiy Zgurts claims the Russian forces concentrated the most combat-ready units of Wagner infantry, artillery and other equipment near Bakhmut, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also brought two additional brigades.
