Shahed-136 production plant in Isfahan, Iran, not significantly damaged - Defense Express
The Shahed-136 production plant in Isfahan, Iran, which was attacked overnight on January 28, was not significantly damaged
This was reported by Defense Express.
It is noted that on January 29, public satellite images of the territory of the Iranian plant for the production of Shahed-136 kamikaze drones and other UAVs, Shahed Aviation Industries, in the Iranian city of Isfahan, have already appeared.
It is also added that there was information that this particular enterprise was attacked on January 28 at about 23:30 local time. Although officially, the Iranian Ministry of Defense reported only an unsuccessful attack on an unnamed military enterprise, adding that three mini-drones were used and the attack was unsuccessful.
The publication draws attention to the fact that the SkySat satellite image from Planet Labs, which was taken after the attack on January 29 at 10:10 a.m. local time, did not show any damage. It is also noted that Iran uses a specific time zone, UTC +3:30.
For comparison, the publication also provides an image from November 26 last year. It shows that during this period, two more hangars were built at the enterprise. It is noted that the latter is associated with the fact that Iran is trying to scale up drone production.
"Thus, the satellite images quite eloquently indicate that there is no question of destruction or any significant damage to the Shahed-136 plant," the publication notes.
