Serbia to stop importing Russian oil in fall
From November, Serbia will stop buying Russian oil, in compliance with EU sanctions on Russia.
This is reported by the Telegraf publication.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said: "After November, there will be no Russian oil for us because of the sanctions." After all, the ban on Russian oil is part of the sixth package of sanctions against the Russian Federation.
"We are just discussing all kinds of nonsense so as not to talk about what we will do with electricity, what we will do with oil, because after November there will be no Russian oil for us due to sanctions. Instead of talking about gas, about fuel oil, about coal, we talk about various nonsense, because it is the easiest," said Vucic.
He also touched on the topic of the possible cancellation of Europride in Belgrade. The President of Serbia said that this is a "nonsense" discussion, there are more serious issues for the country now.
