Satellite images of explosions consequences at Zyabrovka airfield in Belarus are released
Maxar Technologies has released satellite images showing the aftermath of the explosions at the Belarusian Zyabrovka airfield, from where Russia launched attacks on Ukraine.
Maxar posted the photo on Twitter.
"In today’s imagery, scorch marks from a recent blast can be seen on the main runway & burned vegetation is evident nearby," the company commented on the images.
According to the Armed Forces, the Russian Federation uses the Zyabrovka airfield for attacks on Ukrainian cities. However, Ukraine rejects involvement in the explosions at the airfield.
Belarus claims that there were no explosions in Zyabrovka at all, but that an engine caught fire on one of the pieces of equipment.
