
Russia signals new phase of aerial terror on Ukraine with Kyiv attack

He added that Russia’s defense budget of 13.5 trillion rubles “is not insignificant.”
“We paid for it with inflation, but the country is fighting it,” Putin said.
He also said that Russia wants to finish the “special military operation” with the result Russia wants.
“Defense spending is for this goal, not to attack Europe,” he added.
Putin spoke about new sanctions on Russia’s economy, saying, “The more sanctions there are, the worse it will be for those who put them in place.”
